All parents of youth and interested adults and teens are welcome. We welcome your participation in our youth ministry and confirmation schedule, program, meals, transportation, PR and more.
Confirmation Program
Calvary’s Confirmation Program is beginning our Fall Session! Come join us! Confirmation is geared toward youth in Grades 6-8. Those 9th graders who have not yet completed their studies are welcome to join us to finish your studies. Please talk to Pastor Tim if you have any questions. Our Senior High (Grade 9-12) are invited to join us as well and may be asked to participate as mentors. Wednesday night confirmation classes begin at 6:00 PM with dinner (potluck sign-up). At 6:30 p.m. class begins in the Sanctuary and ends 8:00 p.m. One Sunday per month, we join with Lutheran youth from around the island and meet at one of the ELCA churches from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM.

Joint Confirmation: Hukilau Conference (Sundays)

Calvary By the Sea, Joy of Christ, Lutheran of Honolulu (Wednesdays)
PROGRAM: Confirmation will once again be a Hukilau-wide effort. Once per month, we will meet for joint confirmation with other congregations around the island. In addition, LCH, Joy of Christ, and Calvary will meet on Wednesdays at Calvary by the Sea.. The dates and locations for each meeting are listed below. In general, we will not meet the Wednesday following a Sunday meeting. Our curriculum will include:
